The Always and Forever paper collection is gorgeous. I wanted to do something other than the usual wedding page. My son Wynand and his wife Nadia, celebrated their 13th wedding anniversary last weekend and their love for one another is so beautiful that I want to put a spotlight on it. I wanted to showcase a photo of their wedding day and then photos of them through their years together.
The papers are just so beautiful that I wanted to use THEM ALL. I decided to go for a design that showcases the papers the best and therefore cut the papers into strips of various widths. I used a border punch on the Ice Silver Shimmering Metallic paper to add between the papers. I fussy cut the florals from the Always and Forever Bouquet Frame (a-side), Our Day (b-side) and Mr. & Mrs. (b-side) cut apart sheet.
I first laid out my strips on white cardstock and then added the border punched strips in between, I then added some stitching to some of the strips. The photos are printed at 4 x 5 inch and matted on white cardstock and then popped up on foam squares and adhered to a greenish-brown cardstock. The chipboard embellishments were heat embossed in rose gold and white with sparkle over top of the white. I used some rose gold alpha stickers to make my long chipboard title with the words “first kiss” added in. I build the three floral clusters using the fussy cut elements, flowers and die cut leaves. I finished my page by adding light pink enamel dots to the clusters and then adding light pink enamel hearts above the chipboard kissing couple. I used one of the manufacturers strips below the photos and added the year to each photo.
I am thrilled with the result and it will soon be put into a frame and given to the happy couple as a gift on their 13th anniversary.
