When I received the beautiful new Rainbow Party collection and opened it, I immediately fell in love with the stunning Boogie Woogie paper with its rainbow colours and ‘scripty’ pattern. I knew that I wanted to use this paper as a base for my first page.
I had a photo of my granddaughter Leane and her friend that was taken at the Unicorn Café in June and it was perfect for this collection. I cut the Boogie Woogie paper so that I could still have some white space around it. I then distressed the edges of my paper and adhered it to the white cardstock. I pierced holes around the edges to frame the paper.
I then cut a piece of paper from Good Vibes to place behind my photo. I cut a strip of You Sparkle (stripes side) and punched it with a border punch. There is a lot of pink in my photo and to create some contrast I first matted my photo on dark grey cardstock before backing it with Twinkle Toes Starry Night Intense Teal (check side). I love how it brings in the blues.
I fussy cut the little unicorn from Good Vibes (cut-out side) and used the rest of the card to make the little tag and a spot above the photo to add the title. I then embellished my layout and made the unicorn part of the lower cluster.
