When you hear the name Twinkle Toes you automatically think baby right? Well in my case that is the last thing I think about! For me I see an amazing paper design that is just too beautiful for words. So when I finally got around to working with this beautiful new Twinkle Toes range from Lady Pattern Paper I wanted to create a layout that will inspire not only beautiful baby pages but something that will inspire any paper crafter.
So I created a layout that is perfect for a boy with pink and hearts and it turned out to be really cool. Yes I know I am a little biased, but how cool are these papers!
For me the combination of buff, pink and teal worked really well together with the photos I chose to use. It offers the perfect amount of macho, neutral and pretty that this layout needed.
Let’s take a closer look…
The Fluffy Clouds So Buff was used for the biggest piece on my background when I created my layout. The beautiful and neutral essential basic paper with the lines on was busy enough and yet offered a neutral palette for my enlarged photo to be placed on.
The back of the Baby Hearts in Pink Mary was used together with its barcode strip – the perfect combination complimented with some sewing for texture.
The Baby Hearts in Intense Teal is supported by using similar teal coloured elements cut from patterned papers. I also added some text paper and love how adding typography elements to a project just totally change the look.
Supporting elements and accents in yellow include cut outs from paper, stickers, buttons, flowers, diamante, die-cut elements and chipboard hearts.
I used this beautiful technique die-cut heart in shades of teal that I made to match the paper and other elements on this layout.
