I love making cards, but for me they have to be quick and easy. And what better way to make cards than when you have everything out already and working on something else. So while I was creating layouts using the beautiful new Dazzling Blue patterned paper range I had lots of scraps left over. So they became a quick card in minutes.
Step 1
Punch a selection of circles from your patterned paper. You can ink the edges or leave them as is.
Step 2
Randomly adhere the circles to the front of a folded card using Tombow adhesive.
Step 3
Add a stamped sentiment against the right edge of your card slightly overlapping. Sew around the edge to add details through the sentiment as well.
Step 4
Add a pre-printed nautical embellishment to your card grouped together with some coloured flowers.
Add a few diamantes to the flowers and there you have a ten minute card. Plus you get to use all those precious scrap pieces of paper.
Remember to give the stunning ten minute card to someone instead of just hoarding them – nothing says special like a handmade card.
