Sweetspot Layout – Dreams do come true!

What a beautiful backdrop the Lady Pattern Paper Sweetspot (LPP0051) makes for a layout. I used the little arrow pattern as a neutral background for my layout. I love how it is white – which I prefer to work on, but that it also has a bit of colour and pattern that is not overwhelming. The most important thing, after all, is the story and photographs and so often scrappers lose sight of that. But this paper is the perfect compromise for me.
Sweetspot Layout - Beautiful Dreams

I created a focal point element next to my photo by stencilling a large lily on the background using modelling paste. Once the paste was dry I added some blue ink to pick up on the blue of the paper and the photo.

Sweetspot Layout - Stamped Flower

The paste worked really nicely on the background and I love the end result.

Sweetspot Layout - Delicate Arrows

A couple of stamped flowers with a hint of colour acts as decorative elements for my layout.

Sweetspot Layout - Jowilna

Coloured ink splats add some additional colour and pattern to my background.

Sweetspot Layout - Pretty Butterfly

At the bottom of my layout, I added a barcode strip from the hello CARDS paper supported with some embellishments and stamped wording. The strip with its hint of brown makes for a beautiful accent.

Sweetspot Layout - Stars

This sweetspot layout is clean, delicate, and I simply love the end result!
