I had the pleasure of scrapping this little angel’s photos. And who wouldn’t love to create with these sweet photos – right? And what better way than to grab some new paper and combine it with some of my older favourite ones – and guess what they are both by Lady Pattern Paper.
Sweet Layout - True Story Layout

And just in case you are stressed out about the fact that I combined red and pink together, don’t worry I am totally at peace with it – and look how amazing it looks together! This colour combination is pure spunk and energy just like little Yara in her strawberry costume.

The inspiration behind my paper choices started with the strawberry costume. I love the red in it, and so I chose the stars. And if you look carefully you can see the stars reflect in the costume {white on red}. I love the pink because I chose to add a splash of bright pink in the bottom technique portion that was made using texture paste and H2O’s. And since the flag sticker had all the colours in it I could get away with any number of patterned paper combinations.

I added the new THAT Pink chevron pattern with the Kraft background as my neutral – it picks up the browns in the photos and adds that neutral element. Calming and grounded.

Sweet Layout - The Bestist

I used my sticker sheet because they were just perfect, both in design and in colour. And what better way to add some sentiments to a layout or card than the beautiful Oh my word! Sticker Sheet. Don’t you just love how it completes the layout and colour triangle.

Sweet Layout - Little Star

For my accent colours I used a bright pink and lime green paper straw that I flattened using my rubber brayer. The colours just worked so well with the overall look and feel of the layout and added a nice bright accent.

Sweet Layout - Home Sweet Home

Dressed up stickers are the best. I used some paper leaves and a brad to add to the heart stickier. And that just makes it look like a strawberry as well – perfectly complimenting the theme of the layout. Brads, diamante and buttons scattered across the layout add dimension and splashes of colour all over.

In the end I was so happy with how this gorgeous, sweet layout turned out! Perfect for little people and those colourful moments in life when a little spunk is a good thing.
