This is the second of my layouts using the MOON CHILD scrapbooking collection. I scrapped pictures of my granddaughter who now lives in Australia.
On this layout, I cut down a white cardstock sheet and this time matted it on a sheet of ‘Moon Child – Moonlight’. I used the Stars stencil and Weathered Wood distress ink to break the white background. I then cut two pennants, one in ‘Moon Child – Moonlight’ and a smaller one in ‘Moon Child – Floral patterned paper’. I layered the two pennants over one another and wrapped some gold twine at the top after adhering the phases of the moon chipboard border to it. I again matted my photo on the B Side of ‘Moon Child – Floral paper’. I also cut the 6×6 grey block from the B side of ‘Moon Child – Crescent Moon’ to layer behind my photo. I cut the floral swag with the butterfly from the fussy cut sheet and then I cut the butterfly again to layer over the swag to form a 3D butterfly. I also cut the smaller butterfly to add to the opposite side of my photo.
The ‘Stay Wild Moon Child’ chipboard title was again placed directly on the photo and the pretty chipboard moon was layered over the bottom of the photo. I cut apart the one card from the ‘Moon Child – Stay Wild B side’ and used it as journaling on the page. The last thing I added was the little gold Nuvo Enamel dots.
I am very happy with the way the page turned out.
