Sleepy Time with Travel Buddies

The whimsical new Travel Buddies collection is perfect to create baby pages. I decided to use the pretty clouds paper that is the B side of Travel Buddies Gypsy Life as a background.

I prepared my background with a yellow stencilled sunburst and then I used a star stencil and applied modelling paste over the sunburst. While it dried I cut out all the fussy cut elements I wanted to use on my page.

I fussy cut the Elements from Travel Buddies Fly scrapbooking paper. I also cut the one little cable car from the Cable Car paper. I also cut the little mouse block from Road Trip and matted it on white cardstock. I used a 4 x 4-inch photo and first matted it on a block of Travel Buddies Cable Car paper and then on the block of Gypsy Life

The background paper with the stencilled mixed media was cut down and then matted on white cardstock. Hand stitching adds more texture. I popped up all the fussy cut elements on foam to add dimension and then after placing my photo stack I added the fussy cut elements to my background to build a whimsical setting for the photo. Lastly, the Sleepy Time dimensional sticker was added as well as a few hearts, wood veneer stars and two little paper clay moons.
