This is just the prettiest range of papers and I finally settled on the slightly softer set of papers from the Rainbow Party collection.
The base of the double page is Boogie Woogie onto which I placed 4 strips of punched scalloped pieces from You Sparkle at the top and bottom of the page. Using the Magical Day sheet I cut a diagonal strip 8cm wide from the sheet and a second shorter piece to finish off the line across my double page. I followed the pink and purple flowers with my ruler and this made sure that I was accurate with both pieces and they then lined up in the centre of the page. The edges of the strip were inked with Picked Raspberry distress ink. I also used some of the word strips from Good Vibes to add to the top of my page.
Once I had my base, I set about creating mats for my 2” square photos with the charcoal and lime sheets of cardstock I raided from my stash as well as four charcoal strips only 0,5cm wide with a 0,25cm green strip on top… These I glued by using Tombow which I let dry before placing the skinny green strop on the charcoal one, as this was the easiest way to glue such a skinny strip without messing glue everywhere.
I also used my Fiskars cutter with its stencils to cut the circles for my right and left-hand sides of the page from bubbly, using both sides of this sheet. Some of the circles were inked with Mermaid Lagoon and the others with Twisted Citron.
Using the leftovers, I punched some leaves and tiny flowers to add to the bought pink flowers made by Little Birdie and white flowers from my stash.
I then inked the edges of my photos with Mermaid Lagoon and added them to the page.
Lastly, I added the pearls to the bottom set of scallops and bling to my flowers.
