Since I discovered the envelope maker, making envelopes for cards is so easy. But every now and again I don’t have it with me and so necessity calls that I can make an envelope in a few minutes on the fly.
This is the perfect solution I have come up with to date that is quick and easy and looks really amazing with its pinwheel flaps in the front.
Step 1
Cut Lady Pattern Paper Kraft paper into squares measuring 5×5”. Fold all the squares in half using your bone folder.
Step 2
Fold each alternating corner over like dog ears. I just eyeballed mine and folded them using a bone folder.
Step 3
Adhere the squares together by overlapping the squares over each other. Alternate the squares top and bottom.
Step 4
Finish off the envelope by adding a ribbon and tying it into a bow.
Now you are ready to add some of those beautiful handmade cards you have been stocking up on. How about making a cute smaller version using the same concept for a gift card for someone special?
