These PAWFECT treat boxes for pets are quick and easy to make, ideal to use up scraps from other projects and are “Pawfect” to make for gifts and charity/craft fair projects, filled with furbaby treats. Would also make a super kiddies class to take home as a special gift for their pets. The roof opens by untying the bow so treats can be placed inside.
The house template would be suitable for all occasions like Easter, Christmas, Mother’s Day etc, decorated appropriately with your favourite Lady Pattern Paper of course!!!

- I used the PAWFECT paper pack – A selection of “Pawfect” papers and fussy cut images
- Lady Pattern Paper Cardstock – White, Kraft & Black
Other Requirements:
- Scraps of coordinating coloured cardstock
- Distress ink – Vintage photo, iced spruce & hickory smoke
- Ribbon for closure
- Embroidery cotton or twine for bunting
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Cut two pieces of Lady pattern paper cardstock in black and white 10½ x 6½”
- Each piece – With 10½ side along the top score at 2½, 5, 7½ & 10
- Turn and score at 2½
- Following the diagram cut away the excess pieces and mark the 4 squares A,B,C & D with pencil
- Cut two pieces of cardstock ( white & Kraft) for roof sections and score one side at ½”. Stencil, ink and emboss if desired taking into account the direction that the roof pieces will sit on top of the box.
- Cut patterned pieces to fit the A, B, C & D blocks leaving a 1/8th” border around the edges.
- Fold and burnish all score lines then assemble the box, adhering the side flap first then fold in the 3 base pieces starting with the back flap, then the sides and finally the front flap adhering each one as you go. Stand the box up and press the base inside with a bone folder.
- Punch two holes equally from the edge on the scored edge of roof pieces then use clips or pegs to hold them together. Put adhesive or tape on the two side flaps of the box then place the roof on and stick one flap down, remove the clips so you can open the box and make sure the flap is stuck then adhere the other side and repeat the sticking process.
- Decorate your house as desired using fussy cut images, make bunting.
- Place some dog/cat treats inside and thread ribbon through the holes in roof and tie in a bow.
PAWFECT Single page layout
For my layout building I layered different PAWFECT papers and added the “Dogs are my favourite people” chipboard title and the heart with paws element from the ‘Furbabies’ chipboard set. I heat embossed the chippies with silver powder and clear powder.
I think I used a piece from every patterned paper including the bonus sheets so it is a very busy layout but I really love it and showcases the papers in all their glory.
