I love all the colour blue…in all of its shades, so it is not surprising that I chose the Dazzling Blue paper pack to scrap the photo’s I took of my granddaughter Leane with her Oupa.
I wanted to use as many of the patterned papers as possible and ended up matting my photos on the B Side of the Betty Brick paper.
I also used both sides of the Brush Marx & Co Dotty paper and both sides of the Script paper. I used the B sides of Fairy Tales Times and Macho Camo. I like to outline all the different papers to create some separation.
I wanted to add a contrasting colour with mixed media and embellishments. I stencilled some plus signs with Distress Ink in Antique Linen through a stencil and then added my layers so that the different paper layers would be visible.
I used one of the 4×3 cut apart cards as a tag to the side of the photos. After adding my photo to my patterned paper layers I added some chipboard circles, wood veneer hearts and flowers to two clusters diagonally across from one another.
I completed the embellishments by adding some small gold bling around the page.
