I love the Sparkly collection. It is versatile and can be used in conjunction with previous collections. For this layout, I used photos of my daughter and her husband, pure joy!
I used the Sparkly – Frozen paper as the base for my layout. I machine stitched the edges of the white cardstock, splattered with red, blue and grey acrylic paint and matted it onto the Sparkly Frozen paper.
I layered strips of the Basic Essentials paper: Little Star – Metallic Silver, Gingham – Red Pop, and Ooh La Limited – Brush, Marx & Co. behind the photos. I stamped a leave stamp on the helloCARDS Basic Essentials V1 Dazzling Blue and fussy cut them and tucked the leaves under the flower cluster.
From the free Sparkly cut-out sheet, I used the “Let joy be your compass” for my title as well as the 2020 Holy Chip! chippie. I coloured the chippie with silver acrylic paint and sprinkled silver glitter on top.
When everything was glued down I added silver microbeads and splatters with diluted white gesso and black ink.
