Cut a piece of kraft paper to measure 11.5 x 11.5cm square. TIP: I cut the paper to fit into my embossing folder.
Open your embossing folder and ink the top edge of the folder using a dark brown ink pad.
Insert the paper piece into the inked folder and then emboss it by putting it through your embossing machine.
The pattern on pattern effect looks amazing. The printed pattern on the paper is still visible while the embossed pattern adds extra interest and texture.
Die-cut a circle element out of black patterned paper. Cut a small piece of Kraft cardstock to add behind the die-cut circle element and fill in the open spaces.
Die-cut a small curly element out of coloured patterned paper.
Assemble your card by adhering the embossed paper square to a folded card. Adhere a project life card to the front of your embossed piece. Add the circle element and die cut curly element to your card as per the sample image. Add finishing touches by adding brads and sequins to your card.
This is a quick and effective card for your macho man – perfectly manly with a few colourful elements just like Dad. Go on and make him a special handmade card to show him how much you love him.
