Each year the struggle of new products, endless gorgeous ranges of patterned papers and embellishments gets bigger and bigger. So how do you use what you have but still keep it interesting?
The solution for me is combining something old with something new. This year I am making some gorgeous Christmas Cards along with my clean and simple card. I am using my collection of embossing folders (old) with some gold and kraft patterned paper (new) with some interesting elements.
Oh, also, love combining gold and silver together. And what better way than to combine my range of Lady Pattern Paper papers in gold and silver together with some interesting elements.
Step 1
Trim a 3cm wide strip to the length of your card out of the gold script paper and emboss it using your GoCut and Emboss machine and an embossing folder of your choice.
Step 2
Cover the front of your card panel with a layer of Metallic Silver Kraft Sheet Music paper.
Step 3
Adhere the embossed paper strip to the front of your card. Add a strip of cream lace underneath the embossed strip and then add sewing so keep the lace in place.
Step 4
Colour some white ribbon using cream, brown and gold inks.
Step 5
Die-cut some festive wording and sentiments out of gold script paper.
Step 6
Assemble the card by adding a metal embellishment, die-cut wording, ribbon bow and punched silver glitter flowers to the front of your card. Add a few diamantes to finish off your card.
