Ada needs little introduction in SA, but here are a few less known facts.
Please, could you briefly introduce yourself?
My name is Ada, I am married to Bruce and we have 3 children (Richard, Bryce and Leigh-Anne) also 4 Grandchildren.
I have been a scrapbooker for about 19 years and still love the hobby. I taught scrapbooking for as long. I love doing double page layouts but attempt single layouts every now and then. I try and move with the “TRENDS” in the Scrapbooking world but always stay true to my style. I personally have attempted it but prefer just scrapbook the way I was taught. Scrapbooking for me is about the photos we have. And we need to take loads of photos because in the end, that is all we have to preserve our memories. I LOVE flowers and always have them on my pages.
Currently, I am also Designing for Fab Scraps and I am an Ambassador for Cricut.
Do you have a specific process to get the juices flowing or does it come naturally?
Most of the time when I have to create or design the choice of paper plays a huge role. Natural Juices?????? What is that??? The only juice I know is fruit juice.
No, seriously paper plays a huge role. And sometimes it just comes but sometimes it can take a while.
What role does the artist or creative have in society?
Inspiration I think. Especially In Scrapbooking. If a scrapbook project (page) is created and looks fabulous. It will inspire others to create it as well.
