The Month of June is all about Dad and celebrating him, so what better way than to create a beautiful card for him to treasure.
Step 1
Select some patterned paper you want to use as well as your favourite Ooh La Limited paper; in this case I selected the stripe (the reverse side of LPPO0005 – Gear UP! – Chocolate Chilli).
Step 2
Cut your patterned paper to the size of the front of your folded card. Trim a triangle from your Chocolate Chilli paper – don’t think about it just cut.
Step 3
Temporarily place the papers onto the front of your card to make sure you are happy with the shape.
Step 4
Gather a stamp you want to use, your VersaMark ink pad, white embossing powder and a heat gun.
Step 5
Emboss the word in white embossing powder onto your base paper positioned in the middle.
Step 6
Emboss the word onto the triangle piece as well dropping off the top edge.
Adhere the base piece to the front of the card and then adhere the triangle piece so that the embossed words are lined up with the base image.
Add some die-cut arrows and embellishments to finish off your card.
I used a pigment powder to colour my arrows with and then added a layer of dimensional glaze to finish it off.
