Explore African Dream – Lynette’s Single Page

The photo I am using on the page was taken by my husband when we were at Hole-in-the-Wall in March 2018. I adore the fact that this range has our anthem on it because my heart really belongs to Africa.

I started by cutting down the B side of the Mama Africa paper and framing it on dark brown cardstock. I then cut the map of Africa from Wild Thing paper with a Silhouette CAMEO.

I stitched around the map of Africa and around the Mama Africa paper. I love the additional texture that hand stitching gives to a page. I then layered my photo with two papers from the collection. I adhered it over a doily from my stash.

I then heat embossed the chipboard circle, title and heart. I stuck the heart down in the approximate region of Hole-in-the-Wall. Lastly, I added some flowers, die cut leaves and a few Nuvo Crystal drops.
