I love my Silhouette more and more every day. It is just so easy to use and with amazing paper like the Basic Essentials range from Lady Pattern Paper cutting has just gotten a whole lot easier.
For this layout I wanted to keep it simple as it will most likely form part of a Project Life layout with pockets that will be filled with more photos and visuals and so they will complement each other perfectly.
I used a single sheet of Dazzling Blue patterned paper and cut some clouds and my title out using my Silhouette. This was a piece left over after I had cut out my flowers for the layout. So it was a really economic layout as well.
Combine patterned paper with the blue strip paper to form the base of your layout.
Layer the photo over one of the cloud die-cuts.
Cut out the flowers from the patterned paper and ink the edges. Layer the flowers on top of each other using foam tape to add dimension and slightly off-set the flowers for interest.
To add more dimension I used these gorgeous blue coloured flowers and layered them on top of the cut out flowers. Remember to add some diamante inside for interest and a more finished off look.
Adhere the title just below your photo. The pattern on the paper gives the title an interesting feature.
Hand sewing and machine sewing was added to the paper strips adding texture to this clean and simple layout.
