With the versatile range of Lady Pattern Paper papers it is so easy to make projects a lot more interesting. Take for instance this quick card I made using watercolour painted images. And I even used my new Basically Textured papers to create painted elements for my card.
Step 1
Punch a 3” circle out of the Dazzling Blue Basically Textured Fency paper.
Step 2
Stamp two flowers and a stem image onto the Marbel- iscious So Buff patterned paper using VersaFine ink.
Step 3
Use your watercolour paint and paint the images.
Step 4
Stamp a doggy image onto white cardstock and also paint it using your watercolour paint.
Step 5
Leave your images to dry and then cut them out.
Step 6
Create your card by adhering a piece of Egyptian Gold Lucy Lace paper to a folded card front. Add some stencilled details to the patterned paper for interest.
Step 7
Adhere the blue circle to the front of the card and add sewing around the edge using your sewing machine.
Step 8
Adhere the cut out flowers and doggie image to the front of your card. Add a layer of dimensional glaze to the doggie and flower stem.
Layer a second flower on top of the base flower using foam tape. Add some dimensional glaze to the stamens and sprinkle with gold micro beads. Shake off the excess beads and leave to dry.
Add a printed sentiment, brad and diamante to finish off your card.
It is so easy to combine the basic essentials and basic textured papers together for a really stunning effect. Plus I can use my Lady Pattern Paper papers to add that much loved technique and painted look to my work.
