I am really enjoying my art journaling more and more. And with the month of love just past I wanted to create an appropriate page perfect for celebrating love. Of course I pulled out my Lady Pattern Paper papers and look the perfect heart paper in pink!

Step 1

Stamp some heart images onto the Pink Mary Sweetheart paper using a grey ink.

Step 2

Cut out the hearts and ink them using a darker shade of pink ink. Spray them with a layer of glaze and leave to dry. The hearts now have a gorgeous shimmering look.

Step 3

Paint your page using a cerise pink paint; add some stamping and stencilling onto the background.

Step 4

Die-cut an arrow out of black cardstock and mist it using a mist shimmering spray. Cut some random strips of Pink Mary Script.

Step 5

Add the stamped hearts into the mix of elements to adhere to your page. Add multi coloured paint splats onto the background and leave to dry.

Step 6

Adhere all the elements onto the page. Once you are happy with the look add highlights around the heart using a graphite pencil, crayons and pencils.

Cut out individual hearts from the paper and adhere them randomly across the page.

A lovely heart filled art journal love page to celebrate love.
