Alice in Vintage Single Page by Lynette

When I received these gorgeous vintage themed papers, I realised that it would be a bit of a challenge because I seldom use vintage papers. I decided that the challenge is “on” and that I would try and put a modern spin on vintage. I wanted to scrap a photo of my husband Kobus with our two boys. The photo was taken in 2017 when they attended the Karoo Mighty Men Conference and is very precious to me.

I chose to use Lady Pattern Paper Plain Kraft paper as a background. I then selected Alice in Vintage UP UP paper (B side) for my background layer. I applied some texture paste to this layer using a Swiss cross stencil.

I tore around the page and distressed it. I then matted my photo on IMAGINATION and started creating layers with BUNNY MUCH, YESTERDAY (both sides) and TEA FIRST. I used some chipboard gears and a title and applied some rust paste to it.

I also used some burlap and lace across the page for added texture. A few grey flowers and two flairs complete the embellishing.
