When I saw the Academia range, I knew straight away that I wanted to make a graduation album. I love the vintage look and when I saw the books, I decided what better way to celebrate this range than to make the album itself look like a book!
I made the cover using a leather vinyl that I got from our local material shop. I made the vintage wax stamp using a red glitter glue gun stick. I attached the wax stamp using a magnet.
On the first page, I made a pop up with books cut from Old Books. I made 3 of the books open.
I created some cut files to add some more graduation elements. I then used a tea bag on the white cut-outs, the clippies, an envelope and the “letter” degree to match the vintage look.
On the left, I used the border from the Books Chipboard Title. When you open the flap, the title is “floating” with some of the cut file books in the background. On the right, I just made a simple tuck space under the books on the Book Shelf page. I created extra interest using the double-layer argyle stencil. I used ink on the bottom layer stencil and then used paste on the top layer.
On the last page, I decided to make a giant graduation hat that has photos that tuck into each side of the hat. I got a tassel from the material shop, and it paired perfectly with the saying from Biblichor sheet of paper, “The tassel’s worth the hassle”.
