My daughter in grace, Nadia, took the most beautiful photo while we were on holiday at the Keurbooms River last year in December. The Sun O’Clock collection is perfect to showcase the gorgeous photo.
I wanted to use the blues and the papers that have more orange hues. Therefore, I decided on the Sun O’Clock Splash for the bottom half of the page. I punched scallops from this paper with a border punch and then layered them over another Splash paper. I cut the middle piece out of the Ice Cream paper to use for the top part of the page. I then cut both down and matted it on Lady Pattern Kraft cardstock. I layered the manufacturers’ strip of the Lazy Days paper onto a strip of Kraft card stock and layered it over the area where the two papers meet.
The Summer FUN chipboard title was heat embossed with white embossing powder and the shells and seaweed chipboard was also treated to various different colours of embossing powder. I finished the page with the chipboard, a tag cut from kraft card stock and the tiny page pebbles that were coated with metallic acrylic paint.
